About our Bicycle Ministry

 

The idea behind this ministry to take donated used bicycles and repair them so that adults and children who do not have a bicycle or funds to purchase a bicycle can be given one.

 

Bicycles are freeing to some degree. For a child a bicycle can be way they explore the neighborhood or a local park or trail system. For some adults, bicycles are a means of exercise and socialization. But for many, it can be there only means of transportation to work or a store.

 

We are getting donated bicycles from local police departments and from the community. Most bicycles are in need of some basic maintenance and repairs. If you would like to support this ministry with your financial donations, those funds will be used for the purchase of parts used in those repairs.

Those items are typically; tubes, tires, chains, bearings, seats, grips and pedals.
